Once complete, the Pigeon Creek Greenway Passage will encompass 42 miles of pedestrian and bicycle trails that encircle the city. Linking communities and providing a natural refuge from busy streets, the Greenway will be a linear park and trail system that ultimately extends into adjacent counties and ties into the American Discovery Trail (an interstate system of trails that cross the U.S.). Access to the completed portions of the trail is found at Garvin Park (N. Main Street and Heidelbach Ave.).
