Built in 1912 and restored in 1995, the Pagoda retains its original Japanese architectural design conceived from a model displayed at the World's Columbian Exposition in Chicago in 1893. As a community gathering place, the Pagoda was a popular site for picnics and concerts for residents to enjoy the river. As our Visitors Center today, the Pagoda is the picture-perfect place for us to welcome visitors and provide information and brochures on what to do, where to stay and special events going on in Evansville.
