                                           ANOTHER WEEKEND WITH NO ROOM IN THE INNS IN EVANSVILLE

Evansville, IN. – The second weekend of the Jehovah’s Witness summer conference begins tomorrow Friday, June 17 through Sunday, June 19 at Roberts Stadium.   Their 2011 “Let God’s Kingdom Come” District Convention hosted record breaking numbers last weekend and organizers assure the Evansville Convention & Visitors Bureau they expect the same this weekend.  This is documented by the Evansville CVB who conducted a poll of our hotels and found very few with available rooms this weekend. 

We are pleased to have this problem but realize some people may be coming to Evansville this weekend and expect to stay in a hotel.  We recommend they call our Visitors Center at 1-800-433-3025 for assistance.  We also advise residents that traffic will be heavier, and the shopping malls and restaurants will be busier this weekend so plan to take your time and share a smile with our visitors. 

The schedule for the conference is below.  It is free and open to the public to attend.

Morning sessions begin at 9:20AM

Break for lunch at 12PM

Afternoon sessions on Fridays at 1:50PM and on Saturdays and Sundays at 1:30PM.

Afternoon sessions conclude on Fridays and Saturdays at 5PM and on Sundays at 4PM.
