AUTUMN IS AWESOME IN EVANSVILLE!
We may have to deal with humid, hot days during the summer but Evansville is close to ideal during the fall. Usually dry, sunny days with bright blue skies and wispy, white clouds. Temps are in the 70s during the day and perfect sweater weather in the evenings when it dips in the 50s. All the more reason to plan your getaway weekend in Evansville! We have lots of packages offered on our website - just click on the red ribbon banner to see them all.
IT'S ALL ABOUT THE FOOD!
Beginning Monday until the follow Saturday(10/5-10/10), the Westside Nut Club Fall Festival rules! The streets of West Franklin are lined with 125+ food booths, rides galore, stages throughout for entertainment, a Midway....darn near everything is here! No admission but you will want to bring your money for the rides and to buy the yummy foods - not your conventional carnival food. Food booths at the Fall Festival are run by local schools, churches, organizations and non-profits so you will find the standard treats as well as the homemade, grandma kind of snacks. And the rare and unusual, too.
Ever had a pickle juice icee? How about an elk burger? Check out their webpage listed below to see the entire menu on their Munchie Map. Like we said, it's all about the food. You might have to visit twice!
